This exceptional ±406ha agricultural enterprise combines scale, water sources, and established infrastructure to create a highly productive farming operation. Comprising three integrated properties, the farm is ideally suited to commercial dairy production while also offering flexibility for alternative agricultural ventures.
At the heart of the operation is a fully developed dairy facility featuring a 60-point rotary parlour, comprehensive handling systems, feed infrastructure, and bulk milk storage capacity of 20,000 litres. Historically, the enterprise supported a herd of approximately 950 cows and achieved annual production of around 5.5 million litres of milk, demonstrating its ability to operate successfully on a commercial scale.
A key strength of the property is its reliable water supply and established irrigation infrastructure. Four pivots irrigate approximately 70ha from the Kubusie River, while the Gubu River provides a consistent year-round water source. Extensive pasture development, water reticulation, and camp layouts support efficient livestock management and sustainable production.
The property comprises:
Mountain Park Agri (187ha)
70ha under irrigation from the Kubusie River
Dryland pastures planted to kikuyu, rye, and clover
Fully camped with water troughs throughout
Improvements include a main residence, double-storey home, dairy house, four staff houses, and a Wendy house
Primary dairy infrastructure located on the property
Excelsior (113ha)
106ha arable land
Annual maize silage and winter pasture rotation
Two large grazing camps
Aubretia (±106ha )
31 camps with electric fencing
18 water troughs
Water supplied from the Gubu River via reservoir system
Potential to convert approximately 9ha of wattle into additional pasture
Two derelict farmhouses
Additional opportunities exist to expand irrigation through further dam storage and the utilisation of seven drilled boreholes that are yet to be registered.
Connected to the Eskom grid and supported by an adequate backup generator for dairy operations, this is a well-established agricultural asset offering significant production capability, dependable water resources, and the infrastructure required for continued success.
A rare opportunity to acquire a large-scale dairy and irrigation enterprise with proven performance and future growth potential.
