This 1795 hectare farm consists of two portions of land sold as a single farm. Portion 1 covers 903 hectares and includes buildings, infrastructure, and farming amenities. It has a 50kVA Eskom transformer with a 60kVA backup generator, four boreholes (one providing 90,000 liters/hour for 12 hours), and four large dams for water. Buildings on Portion 1 include a 770m² shed, a 300m² shed, a smaller 40m² shed, a cool room with two compressors, a butchery, four store rooms (one converted into an en-suite domestic worker room), and a 240m² house with three bedrooms, a cottage and a lapa with a guest room, kitchen and an office.
Portion 2 spans 892 hectares and is used for hunting and cattle farming, with no main buildings other than those for hunting activities. It is separate from Portion 1 but connected by a gate.
The area has an average annual rainfall of 300-550mm, supporting sweetveld grazing for livestock, and a variety of trees like Matopi, Acasia and Rooibos offering shelter. It’s currently a cattle farm with eight camps, and also has 6.8 hectares of irrigation, a fertilizer tank, pumps, diesel tanks, and a mobile freezer.
Security is a priority, with 14 cameras (including PTZ), an electric gate, spotlights with UPS, and two Wi-Fi systems. Portion 2, although not connected to Eskom, can easily be linked to Portion 1’s infrastructure and has a bushcamp with a 2,900-watt generator, solar panels, and a water supply from three boreholes. The bushcamp can house 13 people in four bedrooms and supports 12 cattle camps, a cattle crush, loading ramp, and seven water troughs.
Wildlife on Portion 1 includes impala, giraffe, kudu, and waterbuck, while Portion 2 has gemsbuck, impala, kudu, waterbuck, and red hartebeest. This farm is ideal for cattle farming, game management, and potential hunting activities, offering a diverse and profitable investment.
