LOCATION
The farm is situated approximately 20 km Southwest of Warden and 33 km Northwest of Harrismith, with approximately 4 km of river frontage along the Wilge River.
The topography consists of typical Eastern Free State rolling grass plains, with some areas that are slightly hilly.
ARABLE LAND
Approximately 98 ha of high-potential dryland arable fields, with 130,540 m³ registered water rights for irrigation.
Chemical soil corrections have been done, and new contours were made approximately three years ago. Lime and compost have been applied.
The lease agreement on the fields expires on 31 August 2026.
Average long-term yields:
Maize: ± 6 tons/ha
Soybeans: up to ± 3 tons/ha
GRAZING
Approximately 173 ha of natural grazing. A Large livestock unit is 4 ha.
