If you are longing for the silence of the Tankwa Karoo, this venture may be just the one for you. The lodge, which is a going concern, is situated on a 20ha piece of land within the borders of the Tankwa Karoo National Park. The lodge is reached after a drive of about 5 hours from Cape Town and is 110km from Calvinia, in a southerly direction.
The facilities consist of the following:
- a main building with a reception area,
- a bar,
- a lounge area,
- a games room,
- a dining area
- a kitchen
- a covered patio
- a pool.
The accommodation area consists of 6 double rooms in "Die Stalle" , 5 double rooms in the "Ou Plaashuis", and a self-catering unit, "Die Kliphuis". There is also a dedicated area for campers.
The price does not include VAT of 15%, which may be applicable under certain conditions.
