Westbrook is a charming beachfront resort with a great swimming beach and kilometers of sands. It is located on the north coast between La Mercy and Ballito, about 30 minutes' drive from Umhlanga. A drive along North Beach Road, which runs between the sea and the ridge of homes, reveals mostly modern apartment buildings and townhouses that reach upward for the views, some of them On Show to prospective buyers or vacationers who dream of a home by the sea. The small seaside town that has sprung up around the beach, just south of Tongaat, is fairly modern. They also go by names that are extremely interesting, such Bali Hai, La Pirogue, and The Views.
