Thohoyandou is a city located in the Vhembe District Municipality of the Limpopo province in South Africa. It is the capital of the Vhembe district and the largest city in the province. The city is home to the University of Venda, the Thohoyandou Stadium, and the Thohoyandou Botanical Gardens. Thohoyandou is also a popular tourist destination due to its many natural attractions, such as the Venda Cultural Landscape, the Nwanedi Dam, and the Tshikondeni Mine.
