Lephalale is a town in Limpopo Province, South Africa. It is situated on the Waterberg Plateau, approximately 260 kilometers north of Johannesburg. Lephalale is home to the Matimba Power Station, one of the largest coal-fired power stations in the world. The town is also a popular tourist destination, due to its proximity to the Kruger National Park, as well as its many game reserves and nature reserves.
