Koppies is a small town in the Free State province of South Africa. The town is situated on the banks of the Orange River, about halfway between Johannesburg and Cape Town. Koppies is a popular stopover for tourists travelling between these two cities, as it offers a number of interesting attractions. These include the Koppies Dam, which is a popular spot for fishing and swimming, and the Koppies Game Reserve, which is home to a variety of wildlife including lions, elephants, and buffalo.
